Attune CytPix and Spectral Cytometry User Groups
We are establishing 2 User Groups that will meet once a month.
An Attune CytPix User Group will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month in BPS 1425. Please note that our inaugural meeting is the ThermoFisher Attune CytPix event that was originally scheduled on March 7th. This event is now scheduled for Friday, March 10th.
A Spectral Cytometry/Cytek Aurora User Group will meet on the 4th Friday of each month in ITSB 1404. Our inaugural meeting will feature FCS Express training from DeNovo Software.
Everyone interested in Flow Cytometry at MSU is welcome. The goal of these User Groups is to discuss applications, assay design, data analysis, and troubleshooting for each technology/instrument. As part of this, we will be inviting instrument Users to present data in an informal environment. We are not looking for polished presentations, just a few slides that show the main idea of your project, some of the issues that were encountered, any troubleshooting that was done, and the outcome. The intention of this is give students and staff an opportunity to present their work and receive helpful feedback, while providing learning opportunities for others. Anyone is welcome to join, not just specific instrument users and trainees. We hope that you will join us in continuing to grow the Flow Cytometry community at MSU.
Information for each User Group is listed below with a proposed schedule for the next 6 months. Please fill out the surveys for the ThermoFisher event and/or the FCS Express event so that we can get a headcount for attendance, as lunch will be provided at these events. Also, please fill out these surveys if you wish to be added to an email list for either or both User Groups.
